Nightwish es un grupo de Symphonic power metal, formado en 1996, procedente de Finlandia (como cualquier buen grupo de metal xD) conocidos en toda Europa por sus fuertes, complicados y melódicos riffs de guitarra, poderosa y resonante batería.

Antes de Annete, se encontraba Tarja Turunen, la cual fue expulsada
de la banda por su codicia y por su actitud de diva. Anette fue la vocalista
desde el último disco de Nightwish, Dark passion play (que subiré mas adelante)

Sonata Arctica

Como dije en la entrada anterior, empezare a subir información de diversos grupos.
Hoy empezaré por sonata arctica, mi grupo favorito.

Sonata Arctica es una banda de power metal finlandesa, fundada en 1996, en la ciudad de Kemi, bajo el nombre de Tricky Beans, que después cambió a Tricky Means, y finalmente a Sonata Arctica, en 1999. recibiendo la influencia de bandas como Stratovarius, entre otras.

En 1997 la banda pasó a llamarse Tricky Means, y desde ese momento hasta 1999 su estilo fue cambiando hasta hacerlo de manera drástica, enfatizando en las melodías de teclado y confiando en una línea claramente distinguible en el teclado, la guitarra y la voz. El vocalista Tony Kakko desarrolló unestilo propio para cantar llegando a ser considerado como uno de los mejores cantantes del estilo.
